Sally-Ann Francis is a founding member of Leveling-Up Learning Institute and is a high school mathematics teacher. She currently teaches Algebra 2 and Geometry to students in 9th through 12th grade. Prior to this, she taught 8th grade math for three years and secondary level math for sixteen years in the Barbados.

Sally-Ann holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the University of the West Indies, Cave Hill, and a Master of Science in Teaching from the University of Louisville, Kentucky. In 2012, Sally-Ann became a National Board-Certified Teacher which is the highest certification that can be achieved in the teaching profession in the USA. In 2021 she completed the maintenance of her certification, which is required by all board certified teachers. She is a life-long learner and takes every opportunity to engage in professional development to enhance her pedagogical skills and content knowledge.

With her strong belief that education is the gateway to the future, Sally-Ann is passionate about helping students to be successful. She provides one-on-one, differentiated instruction, connects concepts in math to real-world situations, and includes opportunities for students to engage in fun activities. When Sally-Ann is not preparing lessons or grading assignments, she enjoys reading, swimming and interior decorating.
